Specialist for recombinant hormones
Today, Merck Serono is the only drug-maker to offer recombinant versions of the three hormones used in the treatment of infertility:
  • Human follicle stimulating hormone (hFSH)  to induce ovarian follicular growth and maturation.
  • Human luteinizing hormone (hLH), which in combination with hSFH stimulates the formation of follicles and follicular development.
  • Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG)
In addition, Merck Serono helps to make administration easy, for example with the Gonal-f® Pen, an accurate and intuitive injection device. This pen makes the injection of FSH virtually stress- and pain-free.
